It's a long, long way to next spring.

For the Pittsburgh Penguins, that looks like a good thing.

There's no Olympic break this season -- those bastards! -- but the NHL is giving each club a week's break again around midseason, so there will still be a surefit of back-to-backers.

Apparently, the Pens coulda done with the first one happening a tad later.

Frankly, that point was a gift, anyway.
